Polyurethane Sealant for Unprimed Substrates ● Patent No. Europe 1 155 093 A A polyurethane sealant for use with unprimed substrates, especially automotive window glass and painted plastic, metal, fiberglass and composites, has been patented by Dow Chemical Company. It is comprised of a urethane prepolymer, NCO functionality at least two, wt. av. MW at least 2000, tin catalyst, organophosphite stabilizer with alkaryl ligand or aliphatic ligand and aromatic ligand, and silane functionality or silane compound. Use is claimed in this patent.
